Paul Blouët letters, 1889-1902.

The collection consists of five letters, four signed Blouët, one signed O'Rell: to Mr. Goodman, 2 Jan. 1889, trying to arrange for a notice to appear the day his book, Jonathan et son Continent, comes out on 23 Jan.; to Dear sir, 28 Sept. 1899, suggesting the inclusion of "one of our greatest portraitists" in Who's Who; to Dear Herman, 5 Jan. 1901, describing his ten-day stay in Paris, with news of his writing plans; to Dear Merivale, 2 June [no year], congratulating him, sending a play, and giving thoughts on its production; to Dear sir, 30 July 1902, sending a corrected proof and noting an error in his bio regarding his status with the French newspaper Figaro.
